That way, Lucia can snag Maria's hubby-to-be, Paolo (Giampaolo Morelli), for whom she's long carried a torch. Though it's weighed down by overwrought dialogue and cardboard characters, pic is buoyed by some well-calibrated perfs. Bubbly Pession, U.S. born and bred, makes upper-crust Maria an engaging, unwitting rival to Lucia; Scamarcio, who became a minor teen heartthrob playing a thug in helmer Luca Lucini's debut, "Three Steps Over Heaven," strikes the right balance between gigolo and scruff. ...Perfect Man ( L'Uomo perfetto )
